Cross-country skiing course in winter 2022-2023

Ísafjörður is the cross-country skiing town and nothing is better than coming west to us to learn cross-country skiing or take the next steps.

There are two types of courses. On the one hand, a women's course where the male money is left at home, and then a mixed course where everyone plays together.

The courses are suitable for both those who are taking their first steps and those who have years of experience in the track.

The courses are from Thursday to Sunday, and during that time we take 5-6 techniques and endurance exercises, go over ski care and how to stand on the line in the Fossavatnsgang, to name a few.

The courses are divided into abilities and take into account the goals of the participants. Some are getting ready to put on a number and line up, while others are taking it easy.

Ísfjörður have held cross-country courses for almost 20 years and boast excellent coaches with experience and ambition. It is taught at the skiing areas of Ísfjörður; Seljalandsdal and Tunguskógi. We consider Seljalandsdal the best cross-country skiing area in the country, although we are slightly biased.

The weekend 3.-6. feb we offer lessons in skating technique, but in order to take part in it you need to have the right type of skis and equipment.

The courses start on Thursday evening and finish at noon on Sunday. It is assumed that participants can take a later flight on Thursday and an earlier flight on Sunday. But of course you can also drive west to us.

Price is 88,500 per person in a duplex and 109,500 ISK. detached house

The confirmation fee is 20% of the total fee and is non-refundable unless the course is cancelled.

To book the cross-country skiing course Just me and the girls or a mixed course, just click on the date that suits you and the course above, which will take you to the booking page. There, you again select the date of the course you intend to attend. Then a window opens with all the accommodation options, then the hotel and room type are selected and the number of persons in the room is selected there. You can choose to stay 1, 2 or 3 in a room, if the intention is to have three in a room you have to choose "triple room". Deluxe and superior rooms are also available. You can stay at both Hotel Torgi and Hotel Horni.

It is necessary to add the roommate's name(s) in the "special request" field during the booking process. The total amount will be taken from the card included in the order. You can call in an extra card if payment is to be made in two parts by calling 456-4111.
